History

Location and organizational changes

• On October 10, 1938, the medical clinic was established in Hengyang, Hunan by the Aviation Commission.
• On July 1, 1997, the 815th National Army Hospital moved to its current location and opened a new medical building, which houses internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, rehabilitation, laboratory and The radiology department and other departments have a total of 300 beds. It has been certified as a regional teaching hospital after hospital evaluation.
• On July 1, 2021, the Pingtung Campus of Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital was renamed as ” The Pingtung Branch of Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital ” and ” The Pingtung Public Diagnostic and Treatment Service Office of Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital “.
