OD and Endo
department:
For Operative
dentistry (OD):
the
major service of OD was rebuid the minor to moderate
tooth defect as chipping or dental caries.
Caries was the defect caused by bacteria and poor
oral hygiene.It can't stop or self heaing
except removal by dentist. The defect rebuid can be
a amlgan filling, resin restoration and Inay/ Onlay
cementation.
For Endodontic
department:
the major service of
Endo was removal of pulp tissue within tooth. Since
the nerve systmen in tooth (pulp) was affected by
dental caries or traumatic tooth fracture exposure,
the pulp should be removed and enlargment for
filling. If the necortic pulp was substianed in
the tooth, periapical abscess and cyst
formation over apical region will be foound.
