The Cardiology Division of Kaohsiung Military General Hospital was founded in 1949. Since then, we have provided the best service for our patients. Our cardiology team includes one chief, four attending physicians, one cardiology fellow-in-training at the Tri-service General Hospital and seven technicians. We perform non-invasive examinations including transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE), treadmill exercise tests (TET), 24-hour ECG monitor (Holter ECG), 24-hour BP monitor and 12-lead surface ECG for all patients visiting our hospital. We service more than 35,000 people per year in our CV OPD clinics. We have one catheterization lab which provides diagnostic cardiac catheterization, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty with stenting, implantation of permanent pacemaker and simple electrical physiologic study.
