Radiology and Oncology Division
- The Radiology and Oncology Division of Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital was established in early 2017 under the planning of former President Shih-Chiang, Li and former President Wu-Hsien, Kuo and with the strong support of former President Ching-Hsiang, Lu. The medical team includes radiation oncology specialists, medical physicists physicians, radiologic technologists, nurses and administrative staff.
- At present, in addition to Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), our department can also provide modern Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) technology, combined with the excellent dynamic image navigation and positioning system (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), which can increase the precision and accuracy of treatment. In addition, it also has the latest Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) technology, standing on the same front as patients and their families to fight cancer together.
