Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital is approved to perform liver transplantation.
Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital(KAFGH) organ transplant team, led by Superintendent Hsieh, has successfully passed the examination of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and has been approved as having the capability to perform liver transplantation for 6 years validation. KAFGH is the first regional military hospital to be granted the certification.
Superintendent Hsieh leads the entire Southern Military Hospital Alliance and aims to become the military medical Center in the South. Therefore, the alliance has been established to promote the exchange of medical technology among the hospitals in the alliance, to cultivate doctors of various specialties, and to encourage all colleagues to go abroad for further study or research to learn the latest medical technology.
