About Public Health Specialist

• The Public Health Specialists Act was announced in 2020, making the R.O.C.(Taiwan) the first country in Asia to legislate for public health professionals.
• The scope of work of a public health specialist spans the areas of environmental health, disease investigation, public health status investigations, health promotion, and food safety.
• In the face of various threats, such as epidemics and food safety, it is necessary for public health specialists to work in collaboration with clinical professionals in order to complete the whole function of healthcare.
