Open Government Declaration

I.    License Grant and Scope
To facilitate the wide and diverse utilization of website data, all of the data and materials found on the Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital website are deemed protected under copyright, even if published publicly and provided under the ”Open Government Data License, version 1.0 (OGDL-Taiwan-1.0)”, free of charge, non-exclusive, and sub-licensable way for the public. Users are granted a perpetual, worldwide license to the data and materials to reproduce, adapt, compile, publicly transmit, or use in another way, for the development of various products or services (herein known as “derivative works”). No matter the context, this license is irrevocable, and users do not have to request any additional written offer or other formality for it. However, attribution shall be provided for in further application.

II.   Relevant descriptions are as follows:
1.   This statement should only apply to scope of as protected by copyright, and does not cover other intellectual property rights, including, but not limited to, the grant of a patent, trademark, or entity logo.
2.   Whether the personal data disclosed or revealed by a concerned party according to laws can be collected, processed, and used, users must still comply with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act, and are held liable to plan and implement corresponding measures and abide by the law.
3.   Part of the videos, photos, sheet music, and written articles by dedicated personnel in a special project or other works, particularly noted for additional approval for use by the entity, are not included within the license scope of this statement. For further use of works excluded from this statement, users shall request additional permission from the entity.

III.   Users are encouraged to make reasonable efforts with respect to the moral protection of rights of third parties involved, including the right of attribution and the right of integrity.

IV.   Users should not maliciously manipulate associated information in the use of such data and materials provided under this statement. If the related information is rendered intendedly inconsistent with the original data and materials for exploitation, users are liable within reason for this unlawful fabrication, and shall bear full legal civil and criminal responsibility.

V.   This statement does not grant users the right to represent the recommendation, permission, or approval of the right to derivative works.
