Equipment & Facilities
Thoracoscope Set
Video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure. Using thoracoscopes and video imaging, operations can be performed through small incisions that previously required large wounds. Many thoracic surgeries can now be completed this way, with less pain, shorter hospital stays, faster recovery, and high precision and safety.
Bronchoscope Set
Bronchoscopy uses a bronchoscope with a diameter of about 0.6 cm, inserted through the nasal cavity (or oral cavity if the nasal cavity is too narrow) into the bronchi for observation. Biopsies and lavage can be performed as needed to diagnose lung diseases. It can also be used for treatment, such as clearing thick mucus from deep within the bronchi.
