Our hospital's Cancer Center and Cancer Resource Center held the “All Cancer Patient Sharing Session – Nutrition and Exercise Class,” which successfully concluded on May 30!
The participating cancer patients said: the nutritionist taught us in a simple and easy-to-understand way how to eat correctly, whether what we ingest is protein or calories, and used the “hand‑palm estimation method” to clearly meet the protein intake target for each meal. After the class, we also got to sample drinks, which showed us that supplements are not fixed; appropriate food additions can change the flavor of the supplements.
The rehabilitation therapist taught us that we don't need to spend money on equipment; we can simply exercise at home. The venue offered a muscle endurance testing service, allowing everyone to instantly assess their physical condition on site—so much fun! Attending today’s class was truly great and worthwhile; we’ll definitely join again next time, and we thank the staff on site for their hard work.
Thank you to the cancer patients for their enthusiastic feedback! The Cancer Center will continue to accompany patients and families, walking together through the treatment process and safeguarding health. See you at the end of the year!
