Our hospital's information team was selected in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's first “Taiwan 50 Excellent SMART Applications” competition, with two self‑developed projects, “Fireline Superman” and “Ambulance Patient Tracking Platform”, and received recognition at the award ceremony on 115/4/13.
“Fireline Superman” allows the public, under safe and personally authorized conditions, to use LINE to query personal test reports, medication records, and medical visit history, and proactively provides medication and appointment reminders, truly returning the right to use health data to the public. The “Ambulance Patient Tracking Platform” integrates the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Emergency Medical One‑Stop System, developed by new staff in a short time, demonstrating that this development model can be easily transferred to other hospitals or organizations.
As the Ministry of Health and Welfare actively promotes medical data standardization and the SMART on FHIR application ecosystem, our hospital will continue to base its development on open standard architectures, and, while ensuring information security and public authorization mechanisms, develop more smart healthcare applications that closely meet clinical and public needs, serving as an important direction for digital transformation.
We thank the judges from industry, government, and academia for their recognition, and also thank Professor Kenneth Mandl, the founder of SMART, for attending the ceremony in person. The two trophies are not only honors but also reinforce our hospital's determination to advance toward smart healthcare.
