Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital bears the sacred mission of safeguarding the health of both military and civilian populations in the southern region. Given the frequently hot climate in southern Taiwan, prevention of heat stroke is essential. Military units must adopt effective preventive measures against heat stroke during rigorous training. Following the establishment of this center, standard operating procedures for heat stroke prevention and treatment have been developed, along with enhanced prevention education and training, to reduce the incidence of heat stroke and provide effective treatment. Through our clinical expertise and dedicated clinical research, we aim to further improve the quality of heat stroke medical care and enhance the well-being of military and civilian populations in the southern region.
