After its establishment in the 92nd year of the Republic (2003), this center became the first heat‑stroke prevention, education, training, and medical treatment center in southern Taiwan. Led by the nephrology department, the entire heat‑stroke medical team is responsible for educating both military and civilian personnel on heat‑stroke prevention, teaching rapid on‑site cooling measures, establishing standard operating procedures for preventing and treating heat‑stroke, and strengthening preventive education and training to reduce the incidence of heat‑stroke and provide effective treatment.
