2. Selection criteria:
- Willing to disclose your full name, occupation, and affiliated institution.
- No prosecution within the past five years for violations of the Medical Practitioners Act, Civil Code, Criminal Law, or other statutes.
- Willing to accept the confidentiality agreement stipulated by this committee and to cooperate with the committee’s meeting schedule.
- Must possess academic qualifications and relevant work experience recognized by national law. Please attach supporting documentation for verification.
- Uphold the spirit of the Helsinki Declaration and, based on various relevant laws, cultures, research ethics, and medical practices, provide comments and recommendations on research projects.
- Participate in the Human Experiment Committee meetings.
- Review, discuss, and evaluate submitted project proposals, and identify any potential conflicts of interest within the proposals.
- Maintain the confidentiality of submitted documents and decisions.
- Participate in continuing education courses in medical ethics and research.
