If your life ever ends, would you leave hope for others?

The hospital held the inauguration ceremony of the “Organ Donation Memorial Wall” and a gratitude music banquet on June 11, 2026 (Year 115), and invited families of organ donors, recipients, as well as distinguished guests including CEO Cai Hong‑bin of the Foundation for Organ Donation and Transplant Registration and Patient Autonomy Promotion Center, Director Hsieh Tsung‑pao of the Zhongxing Campus of Taipei City United Hospital, Acting Director Chen Chien‑jung of the Kaohsiung City Health Bureau, and Dr. Yan Jia‑sheng of Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, to witness this meaningful moment together.

The event opened with the soothing sound of a cello, and through warm and moving melodies expressed the deepest respect to every organ donor and their families; thereafter, a unveiling of the memorial wall and a flower‑offering remembrance ceremony were held to collectively honor the donors’ selfless spirit of great love 🤍, allowing gratitude and remembrance to flow gently throughout the venue.

To date, our hospital has assisted 31 organ donors in fulfilling their wish to leave love behind. Through their selfless generosity, they have brought hope to patients awaiting rebirth, allowing life to continue shining in another form.

This memorial wall is not merely a record of names; it also carries the love and courage of countless families. It reminds us that each act of letting go is the beginning of another life’s rebirth; every act of great love deserves to be remembered forever.

We thank all organ donors and their families for their selfless contributions 🩷, and we also thank every medical partner who safeguards life. May this love and hope continue to spread throughout society, granting more lives the opportunity for rebirth.
