Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital Medical Education Review Committee Operating Guidelines (Version 13, reviewed December 29, 2022)
Purpose
To formulate, evaluate, and supervise training programs for residents, specialists, and various categories of medical professionals hospital-wide; to plan, arrange, and review continuing education and academic activity programs; to promote all types of educational activities within the hospital, and to enhance personnel quality and service quality.
Organization
- 1 Chairperson, served by the Deputy Superintendent for Education
- 2 Vice Chairpersons, served by the Vice Superintendent and the Director of Medical Department
- Members include department heads and teaching coordinators of various professional categories
- 2 resident representatives and 2 student intern representatives
Duties
- Long-term planning, formulation, and review of teaching and training activities and talent development policies
- Evaluation and review of medical research project promotion
- Evaluation and review of post-graduate year general medicine training programs
- Evaluation and review of departmental resident teaching and training programs
- Evaluation and review of qualifications for attending military physician promotion
- Evaluation and recognition of teaching and training outcomes
Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held once per quarter, with ad hoc meetings convened as needed for special circumstances.
