About Us
Our hospital is a contracted smoking cessation outpatient clinic of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's National Health Agency, providing professional medical staff treatment and health education services.
Eligibility
- Individuals aged 18 or older who are covered by the National Health Insurance
- Those with a nicotine dependence test score of 4 or higher, or who smoke an average of 10 cigarettes per day
Subsidy Method
- Smoking cessation treatment service fees are covered by the National Health Agency
- Registration fee is self-paid (NT$60 at our hospital)
- From May 15, 2022, the partial cost of smoking cessation aid medication is waived, fully subsidized by the National Health Agency
- Each treatment course includes up to 8 weeks of medication, with two courses subsidized per year
Subsidized Medications
Our hospital provides two subsidized medications, nicotine chewing tablets and Nicotinell smoking cessation spray, which require physician evaluation.
