Since the Archives Act was implemented on January 1, 2002 (ROC year 91), it has granted the public the right to apply for the use of archival materials. To facilitate the public or organizations in applying for archival data, our institute, in accordance with 國軍單位受理民眾申請應用檔案作業要點, allows the public or organizations to apply for the use of our institute's archives according to those points.
Our institute has one archive storage room. Although the building is narrow, we make full use of the limited space to revitalize the archives, displaying an art and culture corridor and annual significant events in the central hallway. Next to the service desk on the first floor, an archive application office is set up to provide the public with archive access, equipped with archive application forms, promotional brochures, advertising pens, reading glasses, stationery sets, and a copier, etc. In addition, our institute's website has established a dedicated archive application section, offering the public the archive application process and downloadable application forms.
