Our hospital recently held a Nurse's Day celebration ceremony, chaired by Director Wu Sheng‑tang, and a thank‑you video was shown at the venue. The video narrated a patient’s journey from stroke, being admitted through the emergency department to rehabilitation and discharge, highlighting the nursing care provided during the stay. After the video, staff from various professions offered blessings and thanks to the nursing staff; subsequently, Director Wu honored 29 outstanding nurses and 25 senior nurses whose years of service reached 25, 30, and 35 years, recognizing their professional performance and long‑term dedication in clinical care.

This event also incorporated the theme of the 2025 World Hand Hygiene Day, promoting appropriate hand‑hygiene timing and proper glove use among medical staff, and reminding that hand hygiene is a key step in preventing infection and safeguarding the safety of healthcare workers.

Finally, Director Wu emphasized that nursing colleagues are an indispensable role within the hospital, providing warmth and comfort to patients. He thanked the hardworking nurses for their united, selfless dedication, wishing all nurses happiness and health, a happy Nurse’s Day, and a happy Mother’s Day to mothers everywhere.
