The National Army Hualien General Hospital set up a medical station at Guangfu Station, and citizens voluntarily and enthusiastically joined the disaster relief; we in Kaohsiung also did not fall behind, departing at five in the morning to deliver medical supplies and nutrition to the site.
On the way to Guangfu Train Station, we see homes covered in mud, which can easily cause injuries and infections to local residents who are hard at work cleaning; the high temperature and dusty environment also easily lead to heat exhaustion!
The medical station is like a solid backing, silently protecting locals and the volunteers from all over who passionately join the rescue efforts.
