Recruitment Announcement for Specialist Nurses at the ROC Army Kaohsiung General Hospital 

Purpose: Recruit 2 surgical specialist nurses (one of whom will be trained as a specialist for the Burn Center)

Eligibility: Must have national citizenship, not dual citizenship, hold a specialist nurse certificate, and have no adverse disciplinary or litigation records.

8. After receiving the appointment notice, submit a physical examination conducted within the past six months at registration: it must be performed at a regional military hospital or a labor‑insurance designated hospital (please check with the Ministry of Labor’s Labor Insurance Bureau), following the annual medical examination items for military personnel; however, this requirement does not apply to persons hired under the provisions of the Act on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Persons with Disabilities (please attach a photocopy of the relevant disability certification).

4. Job description:

  Perform frontline patient care and medical‑related tasks for various departments (including assisting with medical record documentation and transcription, etc.).

   Must cooperate with rotating shifts (night shifts, weekend shifts, and duty during natural disasters, etc.).

   Participate in attending physician rounds; departmental duties vary by specialty.

   Attend departmental meetings and activities.

   Initially, undergo rotation training in various departments according to personal qualifications and professional abilities.

   Other ad hoc tasks assigned according to departmental needs.

   Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

5. Benefits:

   Monthly salary NT$43,500, plus medical service allowance bringing it to approximately NT$55,000 (if night shift duty is implemented, shift pay is calculated separately; the actual total salary can be inquired with the hospital).

   Includes year‑end bonus, labor insurance, health insurance, and annual employee health check.

   Two positions available (annual promotion and salary adjustment).

   After six months of service, eligible for 3 days of consolation leave, with vacation days adjusted according to seniority.
