Purpose: Recruit several ward attendants
Department: Nursing Department
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduated from a relevant department related to caregiver attendant positions, with at least a high school diploma.
2. Possess a caregiver attendant training certification or related training proof.
3. Graduates of associate degree or higher in nursing who have not yet obtained a nursing license are especially preferred.

4. Job description:
(1) General administrative work:
1. Measure height and weight, respond to call bells, arrange hospital beds, etc.
2. Other miscellaneous tasks.
(2) General technical work (non-professional):
1. Assist with preparing supplies for new patients, moving beds, introducing the environment to patients and families, recording output and input volumes, appropriate use of bed rails, use of ice pillows (including ice packs, ice bags, ice cushions), and notifying of IV changes.
2. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, assist with preparing the environment and patient for examinations and treatments.
3. Immediately report any abnormal conditions to nursing staff, replace bed linens and clothing, and assist with cleaning and dressing the deceased.
(3) Body cleaning and comfort care: (this item is performed for cases without family, integrated care cases, or when nurses assign tasks based on the situation)
(4) Elimination care:
1. Empty urine from collection bags, assist with changing and cleaning colostomy bags, and use of bedside commodes, urinals, and urine collection chairs.
(5) Meals and medication:
1. Assist with meals or feeding.
2. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, maintain the case's physiological functions such as tube feeding, etc.
(6) Comfort and activity:
1. Assist with repositioning, back patting, position changes (e.g., assisting with transfers, getting in/out of bed, sitting in wheelchair/chair, using assistive devices), maintain the patient's correct and comfortable posture, and assist with the use of splints/footboards.
2. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, assist with preparing the warm water sitz bath environment and the patient.
(7) Safety maintenance:
1. Secure bed wheels and rails, and assist in ensuring the patency of various tubes such as IV lines, catheters, and oxygen tubing.
2. Assist in ensuring patient safety while lying in bed, walking, using the toilet, and sitting up, to prevent falls and injuries.
(8) Others:
1. Assist nursing staff in bathing, washing the face, and wiping the patient's body, with towels distinguished.
2. Notify nursing staff if any wounds or pressure sores are discovered during bathing.
3. New patients transferred to the hospital (long‑term care facilities and correctional institutions) shall bathe with sulfur water within three days to prevent scabies infection.
4. Urinary catheter: perform catheter care daily and replace the paper‑gel adhesive site.
5. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, assist in collecting data on blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
6. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, assist in administering or gavaging medication and record it on the bedside log.
7. Assist patients with turning and back‑patting; support bony prominences with water balls or water bags.
8. Retrieve and wipe the patient’s discharge bedside card and equipment, then inspect the environment and change the sheets after the cleaning staff have made the bed.
9. Assist patients without family who are unable to get out of bed with shopping, up to twice a day (morning and afternoon).
10. Help fabricate adhesive tape for nasogastric tubes and secure endotracheal tubes with appropriate glue.
11. Other non‑professional temporary assignments, etc.
5. Benefits:
Ø Monthly salary starting at NT$29,670, plus a monthly medical service allowance (the allowance is variable; for the actual total compensation, please inquire with the hospital).
Ø Includes year‑end bonus, labor insurance, health insurance, and annual employee health examinations.
Ø After six months of service, eligible for 3 days of consolation leave, with vacation days adjusted according to seniority and a special leave bonus up to NT$16,000 per year (in accordance with the Labor Standards Act).
