Military Kaohsiung General Hospital Endoscopy Technician Recruitment Notice
Purpose: Recruit 1 endoscopy technician
Department: Internal Medicine Department
Eligibility: Must hold Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality, have no dual citizenship, and have household registration in Taiwan; candidates with certification and clinical experience as a digestive endoscopy technician or biliary‑pancreatic therapeutic endoscopy technician are given priority.

4. After receiving the offer, complete a physical examination within the past 6 months: must be performed at a regional military hospital or a labor‑insurance designated hospital (please check with the Ministry of Labor’s Labor Insurance Bureau), following the annual medical examination items for military personnel; however, this requirement does not apply to persons hired under the regulations of the Protection of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (please attach a photocopy of relevant disability certification).

4. Job description:
1.Assist in performing various examinations at the endoscopy center (including rotating digestive endoscopy and bronchoscopy, ERCP, abdominal ultrasound suite, pulmonary function suite).
2. Day shift(0800～1700), rotating on‑call emergency digestive endoscopy and bronchoscopy duties on holidays.
Ø Check‑in and consent form verification for digestive endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) examinations.
Ø Administer medication according to physician orders.
Ø Assist patients with positioning.
Ø Assist physicians in completing examinations and handling biopsy specimens during the procedure.
Ø Clean and disinfect endoscopes after examinations.
Ø Provide patients with dietary instructions and follow‑up appointment information after examinations.
Ø Handle issues related to uploading examination images.
Ø Digestive endoscopy examinations include assisting with ERCP, ESD, and EUS.
Ø Abdominal ultrasound suite examinations include carbon‑13 breath test, assisting with liver biopsy, and liver RFA procedures.
Ø Pulmonary function suite examinations include pulmonary function tests, assisting with bronchoscopy and EBUS examinations.
Ø Assist with gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy in the intensive care unit.
Ø Assist with emergency endoscopic examinations during regular and holiday on‑call shifts.
Ø Other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the department as needed.
5. Benefits:
Ø Treatment: Second‑class employment with a base monthly salary of NT$36,970, adjusted annually (monthly medical service bonus of approximately NT$10,000).
Ø Includes a year‑end bonus of 1.5 months’ salary, and provides labor insurance, health insurance, and an annual employee health check.
After six months of service, eligible for 3 days of special leave, with vacation days adjusted according to seniority (in accordance with the Labor Standards Act).
