Recruitment Brochure for the First Cohort Anesthesia Specialty Nursing Trainee Training Program at the Military Kaohsiung General Hospital
1. Target Applicants: Those interested in anesthesia nursing, holding a nursing license, and possessing
(1) a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
(2) a Master’s degree or higher in Nursing with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
(3) For nurses of this hospital, the same qualifications apply, and a consent letter from the unit’s commanding officer is required to submit an application.
2. Number of Trainees: 3 government-funded trainees, 2 sponsored trainees, a total of 5.
3. Training Period: From July 1, Year 115 to June 30, Year 116, lasting one year.
Government-funded trainees have a supplementary training period from July 1, Year 116 to December 31, Year 116.
4. Training Fees:
(1) Sponsored trainees' tuition is NT$60,000.
(2) Government-funded trainees, once selected, will be directly employed as regular staff positions, starting with a regular monthly salary (base salary approximately NT$31,800 per month, performance bonuses according to hospital regulations) as the starting salary, and a three‑year service extension contract is required (the extension period starts from three years after obtaining the Anesthesia Specialty Nursing Trainee completion certificate). If the Anesthesia Specialty Nursing certification is obtained, the appointment will be as a Level‑2 Anesthesia Nurse (base salary approximately NT$43,500 per month, performance bonuses according to hospital regulations).
5. Training Content: Includes lectures (the teaching team will consist of department heads, specialist physicians, and full‑time lecturers delivering anesthesia‑related physiology, pharmacology, basic and clinical anesthesia), clinical observation, internships, etc.

7. Application Period: From now until May 8, Year 115.

10. Regulations During Training Period:
(1) Upon reporting, you become a regular employee of the hospital, required to comply with hospital work regulations and entitled to labor and health insurance and other related benefits.
(2) Before training starts, professional registration must be completed, and a copy of the registration fee receipt must be submitted as proof.
(3) Complete a medical examination before reporting, and submit the original medical report dated within the past six months on the reporting day.
(4) Assessments during the training period:
1. Anesthesia specialty evaluation (including written exam, skills test, literature report, case report); if the written or skills test score is below
70 points, a make‑up exam is required, limited to one attempt, with a maximum score of 70 points.
2. Clinical performance (assessment of six core competencies).
3. A total of at least 200 cases must be handled during training, and clinical internship hours must reach 1,500 hours.
4. The overall assessment score must reach 70 points, and upon passing the above evaluations, a completion certificate will be issued.
(5) In cases of serious medical disciplinary violations, the Anesthesia Department Personnel Review Committee may convene to decide on possible dismissal from training.
(6) During training, any personal leave, sick leave, or bereavement leave (with supporting documents) must be applied for through the HR system, and the missed internship hours must be made up before graduation.
(7) If accumulated leave and missed class hours exceed one‑sixth of the total scheduled training hours, no training certificate will be issued.
(8) For consecutive holidays with compensatory rest or make‑up work, adjustments will be made depending on whether the operating rooms are open that day.
(9) If, during training, any of items 4, 5, 6, or 7 above prevent completion of the program, no training certificate will be issued.
(10) If a government-funded trainee withdraws or resigns during training for reasons other than force majeure,, they must reimburse the hospital for all training‑related expenses already paid and the salary received during the training period; salary includes base pay, professional allowances, supervisory allowances, etc.
