Purpose: Recruit several ward attendants
Department: Nursing Department
Eligibility:
1. Graduated from a high school or higher program in a field related to caregiver services.
2. Possess a caregiver training certification or related training proof.
3. Preferably graduates of an associate degree or higher in nursing who have not yet obtained a nursing license.
1. Examination method: written test → oral interview.

4. Job description:
(1) General administrative tasks:
1. Measure height and weight, respond to call bells, arrange beds, etc.
2. Other miscellaneous duties.
(2) General technical tasks (non‑professional):
1. Assist in preparing supplies for new patients, transferring beds, introducing the environment to patients and families, recording intake and output, proper use of bed rails, use of cooling pillows (including ice packs, ice bags, cooling pads), and notifying about IV changes.
2. *Under the guidance of nursing staff, assist in preparing the environment and patient for examinations and treatments.
3. Immediately report any abnormal conditions to nursing staff, replace linens, and assist with cleaning and dressing of deceased bodies.
(3) Body hygiene and comfort care: (performed for cases without family, integrated care cases, or when assigned by a nurse based on the situation)
(4) Elimination care:
1. Empty urine collection bags, assist with changing and cleaning colostomy bags, and use of bedside commodes, urinals, and urine collection chairs.
(5) Meals and medication:
1. Assist with meals or feeding.
2. *Under nursing guidance, maintain patient physiological functions such as tube feeding.
(6) Comfort and activity:
1. Assist with repositioning, back patting, posture changes (e.g., helping with transfers, getting on/off the bed, sitting in a wheelchair/chair, using assistive devices), maintain correct and comfortable patient posture, and assist with splint/footboard use.
2. *Under nursing guidance, assist with preparing warm water sit‑bath environment for the patient.
(7) Safety maintenance:
1. Secure bed wheels and rails, and assist in ensuring the patency of various tubes such as IV lines, catheters, and oxygen tubing.
2. Assist in monitoring patient safety while lying, walking, using the toilet, and sitting up, to prevent falls and injuries.
(8) Others:
1. Assist nursing staff in bathing, washing the face, and wiping the patient’s body; towels must be separated.
2. Notify nursing staff if any wounds or pressure sores are observed during bathing.
3. New patients transferred from long‑term care facilities or correctional institutions must be bathed with sulfur water within three days to prevent scabies infection.
4. Catheter: Perform daily catheter care and replace the adhesive dressing.
5. *Under nursing guidance, assist in collecting data on blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
6. *Under nursing guidance, assist in administering or tube‑feeding medication and record it on the bedside chart.
7. Assist patient with repositioning and back patting; support bony prominences with water balls or bags.
8. Retrieve and wipe discharge bedside cards and equipment, and after cleaning staff finish bed cleaning, inspect the environment and replace linens.
9. Assist patients without family who cannot get out of bed with shopping, up to twice a day (morning and afternoon).
10. Help prepare adhesive tape for nasogastric tubes and secure endotracheal tubes.
11. Other non‑professional temporary tasks.
5. Benefits:
● Monthly salary starting at NT$29,670, plus a monthly medical service allowance (the allowance is variable; for actual total compensation, please inquire with the hospital).
● Year‑end bonus, labor insurance, health insurance, and annual employee health check.
● After six months of service, entitled to 3 days of consolation leave, with vacation days adjusted according to seniority and special leave bonus up to NT$16,000 per year (in accordance with the Labor Standards Act).
