Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital “Military Tobacco and Betel Nut Prevention Integrated Project” Assistant Recruitment Announcement

Purpose:Year 115 Military Tobacco and Betel Nut Integrated Project – 1 Assistant

Group:Medical Service Group

Examination qualifications:College degree or higher, with computer operation experience, familiar with computer Office applications; those who are adaptable are especially preferred, and candidates with experience participating in Ministry of Health and Welfare projects will be given priority.

3. Applicants should first mail the following relevant documents to our hospital (original documents must be brought for verification at the interview):

(3) Academic degree and relevant certificates [one photocopy].

4. Job description:

(1) Assist with outpatient, inpatient, Kaohsiung Prison patients, and military personnel smoking cessation consultations, health education, and outcome tracking,

   and complete reporting; also submit reports to the Health Bureau, National Health Agency, and Planning Office in a timely manner.

(2) Conduct case smoking cessation consultations and health education, and enter data into the National Health Agency VPN system for reporting.

(3) Perform quarterly effectiveness statistics, submit to the National Health Agency VPV system and health promotion program, and analyze for improvement actions.   

(4) At the third, sixth, and twelfth months, contact each tobacco/betel nut counseling case by phone to inquire about cessation status and provide health education, and

   record for reference (enter into National Health Agency VPN and HIS systems).

(5) Conduct health education according to the annual smoking cessation education schedule set by the hospital.

(6) Complete the reimbursement of tobacco and betel nut project funds on time.

(7) Conduct four daily inspections of the hospital environment, photograph and provide health education to violators who smoke, refer them to the smoking cessation clinic as appropriate, and on the 5th of each month compile inspection results into a record for approval and archiving.

(8) Assist in preparing supervision and evaluation materials at all levels, and adjust working hours as assigned by superiors.

(9) Work schedule aligns with the hospital's smoking cessation clinic operating hours:

Monday to Friday, five days a week, working hours 08:00-17:00, 8 hours per day (including a 1-hour lunch break).

5. Benefits:

(1) According to the latest announcement from the Ministry of Labor, hourly wage for Year 115 is NT$196, with overtime pay calculated separately.

(2) Entitled to labor insurance, health insurance, and an annual employee health check.

(3) After six months of service, eligible for 3 days of special leave, with vacation days adjusted according to seniority (in accordance with the Labor Standards Act).

6. Application deadline: Year 115, June 3 (Wednesday).

7. Interview time: Year 115, June 12 (Friday) 08:30, report to the Medical Service Group office.

   Interview location: Library conference room (for those whose resume meets interview qualifications and have been notified by the hospital).
