1. Examination Eligibility:
1. Nursing license.
2. Having an anesthesia training certification is preferred.
3. Having an anesthesia specialist nurse certification is preferred.
4. Possessing a valid ACLS certification.
5. Nurses with more than 2 years of ICU experience are preferred.
6. Anesthesia specialist nurses with more than 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience are preferred.
7. Must be a citizen of this country and hold no foreign nationality.
8. No criminal record or litigation history.

6. After receiving the offer, complete a physical examination within the past 6 months: must be performed at a regional military hospital or a labor‑insurance designated hospital (please consult the Ministry of Labor Insurance Bureau), following the annual medical examination items for military personnel; however, personnel hired under the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities Rights Protection Act are exempt (please attach a photocopy of the disability certification).
5. Job description:
1. Medical duties:
(1) Assist the on‑site physician in providing 24/7 medical services (including holidays) to personnel on Dongsha Island and Nansha Island.
(2) Assist the on‑site physician in providing health education, preventive care, emergency first‑aid training, and mass‑casualty drills for personnel to ensure health and maintain combat readiness.
(3) Assist physicians in carrying out outpatient and inpatient orders (e.g., medication administration, blood draws and lab tests, IV injection, ECG, etc.).
(4) Preoperative anesthesia assessment for surgical patients.
(5) Intraoperative anesthesia and mobile nursing duties.
(6) Health education during postoperative recovery.
(7) Inpatient care and health education.
2. Administrative duties:
(1) Conduct medical equipment testing and maintenance/management of surgical instruments.
(2) Manage pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, and handle disposal of expired drugs.
(3) Daily inventory and monthly reporting of controlled substance balances.
(4) Hospital internal cleaning and disinfection.
(5) Sorting medical waste and, after transport to the island, coordinating with the hospital for disposal.
(6) Assist with various administrative tasks and National Health Insurance claims.
(7) Compile and report quality indicators for the Dongsha and Nansha IDS projects.
3. Other assigned tasks.
(1) Island staffing and leave: Each month, maintain 2 anesthesia nurses (or 1 anesthesia nurse plus 1 nurse) on each of the two islands.
(2) Supervisory personnel are stationed on the island (minimum two months) with rotating rest periods. (Personnel must coordinate with ship schedules for travel to and from the island).
4. Working period: From 01 September 2026 to 31 December 2026 (the first three months are probationary, implemented according to the National Health Insurance Administration’s IDS project dates for Dongsha and Nansha Islands).
6. Benefits:
Monthly base salary NT$60,000 (during mainland leave). Island staff also receive island allowances, welfare subsidies, night shift pay, etc., and enjoy labor and health insurance benefits.
Note 1: Island staff allowances and shift pay are prorated based on actual days on the island (according to attendance records for NHI review).
Note 2: Posting locations: Dongsha Island Dongguang Hospital, Nansha Taiping Island Nansha Hospital, and the main hospital; rotation sites are determined by the main hospital according to mission requirements.
